And then there are the distant friendships that just sort of fizzled out and sometimes I just want to go up to them and scream, “Do you even remember me? I was the one you said was your best friend?” 

And the friends it hurts to think about because in the end they just didn’t try. They didn’t care enough about you to even bother.
